Our Vision
In the heart of Huber Heights, we envision a community where every child achieves their full potential and becomes an engaged, positive contributor to a more optimistic future.
Who We Are
The Optimist Club is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local Clubs whose Members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves. We are neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive changes in our local area, starting with our youngest citizens. At the Huber Heights Optimist Club, we believe in bringing out the best in kids and, in doing so, bringing out the best in ourselves. As part of Optimist International, we join a global force of positivity and action dedicated to serving the youth of our community.
Join us for our bi-monthly gatherings on the first and third Thursdays of each month (with the exception of December) at 7:00 PM. Our meetings take place at The Wright Van Cleve House, located at 5281 Bellefontaine Rd, Huber Heights. We invite all who are interested in learning more about our mission and how we operate to attend.
What We Do
From scholarships and academic competitions to sports and leadership development, we provide resources and support that empower the children of Huber Heights to grow, learn, and lead. Our programs are crafted to nurture optimism as a philosophy of life.
