The Huber Heights Optimist Club awards grants to local organizations, schools, and nonprofits whose programs directly serve the youth of Huber Heights and surrounding community.
We prioritize programs focused on education, sports, arts, leadership development, and community service for young people.
Grant awards are determined by the club's executive board based on available funds, alignment with our mission, and potential impact on local youth.
Grant Criteria
- Program must directly benefit youth in Huber Heights or surrounding areas
- Applicant must be a registered nonprofit or accredited school/organization
- Funds must be used for youth-serving programs, not administrative overhead
- Applicants must describe the program and expected outcomes clearly
- Previous recipients must provide a brief follow-up report before reapplying
